Rare Objects & Numismatics

It’s the hobby of kings… and me.

There’s something romantic about holding an object that survived entire civilizations. Coins carry history in the palm of your hand- tiny pieces of art, power, legacy, and obsession.

If you’re a fellow numismatist, you already know to skip the flowers and go straight for the proof coins.

I love first-edition American classics- Hemingway, Steinbeck, Faulkner- the kinds of books that feel better the older they become.

Lately, I’ve fallen into a serious Russian novelist phase:
Dostoevsky, Nabokov, Tolstoy.

I also have a soft spot for stories about history’s most iconic muses and romantics:
Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Baudelaire’s Fleur du Mal.

(Yes- Baudelaire was inspired by a famous Parisian courtesan. Naturally, I adore that!)

Hermès

I can’t help but feel a little giddy whenever I see an orange box.

An Hermès bag is more than a place to stash lip gloss. It’s craftsmanship, ritual, patience, and beauty all wrapped into one impossibly elegant object.

The best ones require strategy and thoughtfulness to acquire- qualities I happen to find incredibly attractive.
