"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
- Ferris Bueller.
I live for the kind of evening where time bends a little.
Your jacket on the back of my chair.
My lipstick on the rim of your glass.
Champagne between us, laughter spilling over, and suddenly it’s midnight.
Then someone says, “Okay, one last drink,” which is almost always a lie ;)
Old-fashioned in all the right ways, a little adventurous in the others.
I’m Riley.
A Manhattan-based companion with a soft spot for old-school romance, good conversation, and nights that accidentally turn into very late nights.
I like curious people. Funny people. People with stories. And people who know that chemistry usually happens when you stop trying quite so hard to impress each other.
Give me a great restaurant, a bottle of champagne, and someone I genuinely like talking to and I’m pretty easy to please.
Bonus points if you make me laugh. Even more if you order dessert!
Who I am
Blue-green eyes, blonde hair, 5'6"- a little taller after dinner, thanks to my ongoing commitment to impractical shoes.
I run in Central Park. I'm terrible at golf. Suspiciously good at blackjack.
I’m emotionally attached to hotel bars, hardcover books, and staying for one more drink when we both know perfectly well it won’t be the last one.
Led Zeppelin in the morning. Cat Stevens after midnight.
I collect coins, vintage champagne, and stories that get better every time you tell them.
My passport might be my favorite possession. 38 countries and nowhere close to done. I’ve watched the sun rise from Mt. Fuji, wandered Italy with very little regard for the map, and learned that getting a little lost usually makes for a much better story.
Still on my list: scuba diving in the Maldives, an Antarctic cruise, and learning to fly a helicopter for absolutely no practical reason whatsoever.
Maybe you’ll join me for one of them?
Let’s make life feel cinematic again.
Maybe it starts with dirty martinis and a view of the skyline.
Maybe it’s a hidden restaurant, candlelight, and a tasting menu that lasts three hours longer than expected.
Maybe it’s an overnight downtown where neither of us has to watch the clock.
Or maybe we get on a plane and figure out the rest when we land.
I’m at my best when there’s time to flirt, wander, laugh too loudly, order another drink, and see where the evening takes us.
And the only thing better than a wonderful first date?
The fiftieth. When we already know exactly how much trouble we’re going to be.
